Commercial equipment represents a significant investment.
Rachamere Veriton LLC expects every renter to treat rented equipment responsibly, operate it correctly, and take reasonable steps to protect it against damage, theft, and loss.
This policy supplements the applicable Rental Agreement.

ORDINARY WEAR VS. DAMAGE
We recognize that equipment used properly on a job site will experience ordinary wear.
Normal wear and tear is not the same as customer-caused damage.
Ordinary wear may include reasonable deterioration resulting from proper use of the equipment for its intended purpose.
Damage may include circumstances such as:
- Collision or impact damage
- Broken components caused by improper operation
- Equipment rollover
- Operation outside manufacturer limitations
- Improper towing or transportation
- Unauthorized modifications
- Negligent operation
- Use by unauthorized operators
- Damage caused by continuing to operate after significant warnings
- Missing parts or accessories
- Contamination or improper fluids
Actual responsibility will be determined according to the Rental Agreement and circumstances.

REPORT DAMAGE IMMEDIATELY
If significant damage occurs:
Stop operating the equipment when continued operation may cause further damage or create a safety risk.
Contact Rachamere Veriton promptly.
Provide photographs and relevant information when requested.
Do not conceal damage or continue operating a machine where doing so is likely to worsen the problem.

THEFT
If equipment is stolen:
1. Contact appropriate law enforcement promptly.
2. Obtain an incident or police report where available.
3. Notify Rachamere Veriton promptly.
4. Notify the applicable insurer where required.
5. Cooperate reasonably with recovery and claim procedures.

 LOST EQUIPMENT
If equipment, attachments, keys, or accessories are lost, notify us promptly.
The renter may be responsible for replacement or other amounts as provided by the Rental Agreement.

DAMAGE INSPECTION
Equipment may be inspected when returned or recovered.
Where appropriate, condition may be compared with photographs, inspection records, or other documentation created before the rental.

DAMAGE ASSESSMENT
If chargeable damage is identified, reasonable costs may include amounts permitted by the Rental Agreement for:
- Replacement parts
- Labor
- Diagnostics
- Outside repair services
- Transportation
- Cleaning or decontamination
- Replacement of missing components
- Other reasonable restoration costs
Material charges may be supported by appropriate documentation.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A refundable security deposit may be applied toward amounts properly due under the Rental Agreement.
The security deposit is not necessarily the renter's maximum financial responsibility.
If properly chargeable costs exceed the deposit, the remaining balance may remain due according to the Rental Agreement and applicable law.

 MECHANICAL FAILURE
Not every breakdown is renter damage.
Normal mechanical failure and ordinary wear are evaluated differently from problems resulting from improper operation, misuse, negligence, unauthorized repairs, incorrect fuel or fluids, or continued operation after a significant warning condition.

UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS
Do not authorize major repairs or replacement parts without approval from Rachamere Veriton except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect persons or property.
Unauthorized repair expenses are not automatically reimbursable.

RECOVERY
If equipment is not returned as required, Rachamere Veriton may exercise lawful contractual and legal remedies to recover its property.
The renter may be responsible for reasonable recovery-related costs where provided by the Rental Agreement and permitted by applicable law.

INSURANCE
Insurance requirements vary according to the equipment and rental.
Insurance does not automatically eliminate the renter's contractual responsibilities. Responsibility for any deductible, excluded loss, uninsured amount, or denied claim will be determined according to the Rental Agreement and applicable law.
